Dean’s Achievement Awards
The Dean’s Scholarly Achievement Awards are presented annually by the Dean of Faculty at the first May faculty meeting. The Dean's Scholarly Awards recognize individual accomplishment but reflect a richness and depth of scholarship and creative activity across the entire faculty. Scholarly awards are presented in three categories:
- Career Achievement: marks significant achievement during the course of a career
- Early Career Achievement: marks significant achievement at the advanced assistant or associate professor level
- Notable Year Achievement: marks particular achievement in the past year (as many as three faculty members honored)
The Dean’s Exceptional Service Awards are presented to faculty who have contributed extraordinary service to the College and are awarded in the categories of Career Achievement and Notable Year Achievement.
