The Frederick C. Fox Memorial Book Fund

This fund, established by friends and family in memory of Frederick C. Fox, Class of 1932, supports the purchase of books in the areas of poetry, English, and history to enhance.
Frederick Fox was an English major while on the Hill and joined Delta Upsilon. A dedicated student , he was a recipient of the William Duncan Saunders Prize. Graduating with departmental honors, he continued his English studies at the University of Michigan acquiring his M.A. degree. Because it was during the Depression, he took a position with Libby-Owens-Ford Glass Company, placing his desire for teaching on hold, and remained at the company for 40 years. Upon retirement, Mr. Fox turned to writing and research, particularly genealogy and eventually wrote a book about his research. He placed high value on his Hamilton education.
