The Harvey Goslee Library Fund

Harvey R. Goslee, Class of 1924, (1903-1982) established this fund in1978, to provide for the purchase of books in the areas of German language and literature and/or public administration including local and state government administration.
While a student on the Hill, Harvey was a member of Phi Beta Sigma fraternity and excelled scholastically receiving the Duell Scholarship and the Brandt Prize in German. Elected to Phi Beta Kappa, he delivered the Latin salutatory for his class. He went on to receive his M.S. in public administration from Syracuse University and then began his career with the American Book Company with an emphasis on college textbook publications. He served on many community and local government boards in Fairfield, Connecticut. Devoted to Hamilton, he delivered the half-century annalist letter for his class.
