The Paine Memorial Fund

N. Emmons Paine, Class of 1874, donated 400 coins to his alma mater in 1920 to establish a book fund in memory of five Hamilton alumni, all members of his family. They were: Horace, Class of 1860, John, Class of 1859, Nathaniel, Class of 1874, Howard, Class of 1878, and Clarence, Class of 1884.
