The William Curtis Noyes Endowment Fund

William Noyes, who received an honorary degree form Hamilton in 1856, left 7,000 volumes of law books in his bequest to Hamilton in 1864. In 1948 the College sold the collection and put the proceeds into endowment, creating a fund to purchase books in political science.
