Harmonia Macrocosmica
Harmonia Macrocosmica

The Wellin Museum’s SUM Artists exhibit, February 15- June 14,202, curated by Matthew Deleget and Rossana Martinez is open! In the "Wellinworks" section of the exhibit, you will experience a beautiful 'natural' landscape lounge area designed by Chris Harrison. It includes a monitor displaying pages from books in LITS Special Collections. Moreover, when you look at the images closely you will see that elements of these displayed pages have been 'animated. These "William Law Animations” bring to life William Law's  18th-century illustrations of Jakob Böhme's philosophies about man's relationship with God and spheres of existence. Experience Law's imaginative drawings through these enlivened interpretations of the original work. The animations were produced by Hamilton Library & IT Services and Digital Media Tutors Tashi Lhamu '21, Levana Lyu '21, and Satchel McLaughlin '22, under the expert guidance of Bret Olsen, Educational Technologist, Art Support.
