Maximizing Class Time with Online Tools: Featuring Karen Brewer

By Lisa Forrest

Library and Information Technology Services, in collaboration with the Dean of Faculty’s Office, is pleased to present Ways We Teach: Creativity & Innovation in the Classroom.  This series showcases innovative curricula and course design at Hamilton College.

Please join us on September 16 at 12:00 p.m. in the library’s All Night Reading Room for Maximizing Class Time with Online Tools, featuring Karen Brewer.   Karen will be discussing the use of online tools in her Chemistry 120 class.  Tools such as screencasts, pencasts, and Piazza provide more class time to dig deeper into challenging course topics, offer narrated examples, and allow students to hone each other’s questions and answers.

Lunch will be served. We hope you can join us!
