Beyond YouTube. LITS Now Offers Streaming Videos
LITS is pleased to announce the addition of two new subscription streaming video services, Films on Demand and Kanopy. This now brings the size of our video collection to over 50,000 titles. Streaming videos offer faculty and students many options for viewing -- in-class, out-of-class, from off campus, and they're available 24/7. Exhibit: The Infancy of Printing
Special Collections has installed a new exhibition on the third floor of Burke Library, "The Infancy of Printing: Books from 1500 and Earlier in Burke Library" Hamilton College owns fifty-three books printed in 1500, or earlier. Dating from the first period of printing in Europe, they are known as incunabula, (singular incunabulum), from the Latin word meaning “swaddling clothes” or “cradle.” More...
