Microsoft Office 2016 is now available for Macintosh and Windows Hamilton bar-coded computes on campus. This web page will provide you with installation instructions, system requirements, and how to find help for the new versions and features.

- Windows users will see a number of improvements to familiar features, an updated clean look, new charts in Excel, and new features like "Tell me" that will quickly take you to the feature you want to use.
- Macintosh users will enjoy the functionality of an expanded, easy-to-use "ribbon" menu, access to thousands of online templates, threaded comments, and many improvements to familiar features.
- Compatibility between Macintosh and Windows spreadsheets has been improved.
System Requirements for the upgrade
Windows 7 and above
OS 10.10 (Yosemite) and above
File Compatibility
Both the Mac and Windows versions can save files in older file formats.
Windows documents/files created with Office 2007 and above will open normally. Files created in older versions of Office will open in compatibility mode.
Macintosh document/files created with Office 2008 and above will open normally. Files created in older versions of Office will open in compatibility mode.
