Burke Library floor plan - first floorWe are thrilled to announce that during the summer of 2023, the entire first floor of Burke Library will be remodeled.
Despite the construction, most LITS services will remain available without interruption.

We are very excited, and hope you are as well. We’re anticipating a new and improved classroom, areas to highlight our physical collections, shared service points for assistance, virtual reality spaces, soundproof rooms for podcast production and more, different types of study spaces for individual and group work, permanent exhibit spaces, new offices, and other great new spaces. Check out the architect's images below:

Burke Library will close to the public starting at 10 p.m. on Monday, May 15, 2023 so construction can begin. The entire library will be inaccessible to all patrons, except for faculty with carrels on the third floor. Library materials can be retrieved for patrons, and electronic access to resources will not change. We anticipate re-gaining access to the building by the start of the Fall semester.

LITS follows the College business hours. Please note the College will be closed Monday, May 29th, Monday, July 3rd, and Tuesday, July 4th.
