The Research and Instructional Design team’s pedagogy support ecosystem fosters impactful teaching and learning.

August  workshops for new faculty

Programs & Projects

The R&ID team’s innovations in pedagogy program is a dynamic catalyst for modern teaching, fostering a campus culture of experimental and inclusive learning. We provide a comprehensive support ecosystem for faculty–from skill-building workshops and collaborative design sessions to an incubator for emerging teaching ideas.

The team works to empower faculty and students with an interest in transforming curricular challenges into impactful experiences. By bridging the gap between theory and classroom practice, we seek to ensure our Hamilton community’s teaching remains as forward-thinking as our research.

Partners in Pedagogy Workshops

Our day-long, interactive workshops introduce faculty to our library’s resources and provide opportunities to develop relationships with instructional designers and librarians who can help bring course assignment ideas to life.

Topics in Pedagogy Series

For all faculty.
Our annual, interactive workshops introduce faculty to emerging research and design technologies that can be integrated into their teaching and provide occasions to deepen their working relationships with research librarians and instructional designers.

Incubator Projects

Incubator projects provide opportunities for faculty to partner with R&ID professionals on the development of new, early-stage ideas for projects to enhance teaching and student learning.
