Reserve a Booth

Burke Library’s four production booths located behind the makerspace are available for creating audio and video content, private online conversations, and other academic projects. You may sign up for 3 slots per day. If you do not expect to make your reservation time(s), please cancel your appointment on your calendar event.

Tips

  • Please save all projects, recordings and other files to an external drive or cloud based storage. Computers will be wiped every week and files saved to the computer will be deleted.
  • First time using the booths? Watch this 3 minute instructional video to learn how to properly use the equipment in the booth.
  • If the microphone is not responding, doublecheck to see that the 48v button (phantom power) is turned on for each mic. The button is located on the back of the audio control interface. Give it a push and an indicator will light up on the interface.

Get Help

Digital Media Tutors (DMTs) are available to train and assist you with the booth equipment. Please note that DMT hours do not necessarily line up with available time slots, so plan accordingly.
