  • Leeann Brigham '09, one of Hamilton's Senior Fellows, is profiled in a column in her hometown newspaper, The Troy Record (12/19/08). Brigham is studying an animal model of schizophrenia as her Senior Fellow project. She hopes to spend next year at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden studying the neural circuits involved in motor control.

  • Jennifer Sunderlin '04 was recently appointed to serve on the Board of Directors of the Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York. Sunderlin graduated with a double major in Government and Theatre. At Hamilton, she was a member of Gamma Xi and Special K. After graduation, she attended Albany Law School of Union University and earned her Juris Doctor in 2007.

  • A new essay by Jay Williams '54, the Walcott-Bartlett Professor of Religion, is the featured article on the Bible and Interpretation Web site. In the article, "Mark, the gospel of radical transformation," Williams proposes a somewhat new interpretation of the ancient gospel based upon a literary rather than an historical meaning of the text.
