The Hamilton College volleyball team split a pair of matches at the Skidmore Classic Saturday, rallying to beat Colby-Sawyer in five sets before being swept by the host Thoroughbreds.

The Hamilton College volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision to visiting Middlebury in a NESCAC match Friday night. The contest, which wrapped up a three-match home stand for the Continentals, was delayed 90 minutes because of Middlebury travel issues.

The Hamilton College volleyball team opened a weekend home series with a loss to SUNY Cortland in non-league competition on Friday night. The Red Dragons won in five sets (21-25, 27-25, 13-25, 25-16, 15-10).

The Hamilton College volleyball team competed in the University of Rochester Invitational over the weekend. The Continentals dropped matches to Oswego (3-2) and Geneseo (3-0) Friday night and lost to Houghton (3-1) and St. John Fisher (3-0) Saturday.

The Hamilton College volleyball team opened its 2015 season by topping visiting Morrisville State College in four sets Wednesday night at Margaret Bundy Scott Field House.

Last year the Hamilton College volleyball team won 10 of their first 13 matches and finished with a 15-12 record, including 4-6 in the NESCAC. The Continentals capped 2014 with their first appearance in the NESCAC Championship quarterfinals.

The Hamilton College volleyball program received a Team Academic Award from the American Volleyball Coaches Association for the 2014-15 academic year.

A total of 29 student-athletes were honored at Hamilton College’s 2015 Scholar-Athlete Luncheon. The event, which was co-sponsored by Hamilton's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and the Department of Athletics, was held in conjunction with the 28th Annual National Student-Athlete Day.

Emily Rosen '15 just wrapped up her four-year Hamilton College volleyball career on Nov. 7 at the NESCAC championship quarterfinals. Emily is a three-time member of the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team and majors in psychology. She recorded 680 digs in 283 career sets as a defensive specialist.
