Hamilton College provides international employees, students, and paid visitors with access to the Sprintax System in order to assist in determining the eligibility of any compensation for tax treaty benefits.

International employees and students may also use the Sprintax system to prepare their year end tax forms. A SSN (social security number) or ITIN (Individual Tax Identification Number) is required in order to claim exemption from tax due to treaty benefits. Information on these numbers and how international students may apply for them is available at Tax Issues for International Students.

International employees, students, and paid visitors who receive financial compensation or support from Hamilton College (including taxable scholarships) will receive an email from support@online-tax.net which contains login information. The subject line will be “Payments from Hamilton College”. Paid visitors must log on and enter requested information before payment will be issued. International employees and students wishing to determine if possible to claim tax treaty benefits in order to avoid income tax withheld from their salary should log on and enter the requested information. International employees and students wishing to use Sprintax to prepare their year end tax returns should log on and enter requested information as well.
