Installation Steps:

  1. Go to https://www.citrix.com/downloads/workspace-app/.
  2. Scroll down and click the link under “Workspace app for Windows (or Mac) Current Release,” depending on your computer’s platform.
  3. Make sure that your OS is compatible with the latest app. If so, click “Download Citrix Workspace app.” If not, go back to Step 2 and click “Earlier Versions of Workspace app for Windows (or Mac)” to find the appropriate app for your OS. See the following bullet points to check your OS version.
    • Mac: Click the Apple icon on the Apple menu, and choose “About This Mac.”
      • macOS 10.15, Big Sur 11.0.1+, Monterey: The latest app, as of July 25, 2022
      • macOS 10.14 and 10.13: Earlier versions > 2008
      • macOS 10.12 and 10.11: Earlier versions > 1906
    • Windows: Press the Windows key + R, type winver, and press Enter.
      • Windows 11 and 10: The latest app, as of July 25, 2022

      • Windows 8.1: Earlier versions > 2204.1

      • Windows 7: Earlier versions > 2002

  4. Run the installer. Give admin permission if a pop-up comes up.
    • Windows: Click "Install Anyway" if you see a dialog box "The app you're trying to install isn't a Microsoft-verified app."
  5. Once the installation is complete, click “Close.” Do not click “Add Account,” because you do not need to create an account for Citrix.

  6. Proceed to Registering and Logging in to Citrix.
