Convocation 2026
Hamilton opens its 215th year with the Convocation ceremony on Wednesday, Aug. 26 at 4:30 p.m. in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center. President Tepper will welcome new students and faculty, and Deans Munemo and Card will offer remarks and award academic achievement prizes. Watch live online; the list of prize recipients will be posted the next day.
Family Weekend: Join Us Sept. 25–27

From the Pitch to the Sidelines: Finn Norsen ’28 Captures the Game
A lifelong passion for soccer gave Finn Norsen ’28 the opportunity to combine his love of the game with his growing interest in photography. This summer, Norsen served as the photographer and multimedia creator for the Western Mass Pioneers, documenting everything from pregame preparations to match-winning celebrations, while gaining firsthand experience in the fast-paced world of sports media.

Under bright, sunny skies on College Hill, about 475 members of the Class of ’30 arrived on campus to begin Orientation, head off on adventure trips, and officially settle into life at Hamilton.
Hamilton Students Dive Into 20,000 Years of Florida River History
On Florida’s Wakulla and St. Marks rivers, a group of Hamilton researchers spent their summer snorkeling for freshwater snails, watching for alligators and manatees, and collecting samples that preserve thousands of years of environmental history.
