We realize that some students may have academic obligations that do not allow for a full year abroad.

Applications for one semester only will be considered from students majoring in the sciences or mathematics, students whose core requirements for their major do not permit them to spend a full year away, and students who attend another semester off campus.

In order to maintain the serious francophone atmosphere of an annual program, admission for fall-only or spring-only students will be highly selective. Preference will be given to students who are very proficient in French and who have compelling academic reasons for the one semester option.

Candidates for this option must submit an additional letter explaining the circumstances of their application; in addition, they should request that an advisor, professor or dean address the issue of the student’s one-semester application in his or her letter of recommendation.”
